Clearing Your Cache
Sometimes things don't work well because things are a little bogged down in the background. Try one of these processes based on your equipment to see if that helps!
Clearing your browser's cache and history can help resolve issues related to accessing newer versions of websites.
Here's a simple guide for the most common browsers:
Google Chrome:
Open Google Chrome.
Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) in the top right corner of the browser window.
Hover over "More tools" and select "Clear browsing data."
Choose a time range. To clear everything, select "All time."
Make sure the boxes for "Cached images and files" and "Browsing history" are checked.
Click "Clear data."
Mozilla Firefox:
Open Mozilla Firefox.
Click on the three horizontal lines (≡) in the top right corner of the browser window.
Select "Options."
Click on "Privacy & Security" in the left sidebar.
Scroll down to "Cookies and Site Data" and click "Clear Data."
Ensure "Cached Web Content" is checked. You can also check "Cookies and Site Data" if desired.
Click "Clear."
Safari (Mac):
Open Safari.
Click on "Safari" in the top left corner of the screen, next to the Apple logo.
Select "Preferences."
Click on the "Privacy" tab.
Click "Manage Website Data" and then "Remove All."
To clear history, click on "History" in the top menu and select "Clear History."
Microsoft Edge:
Open Microsoft Edge.
Click on the three horizontal dots (⋯) in the top right corner of the browser window.
Select "History."
Click "Clear browsing data."
Choose what to clear, making sure "Cached data and files" and "Browsing history" are checked.
Click "Clear."
Once you've cleared your browser's cache and history, you should be able to access the new website without any issues. If problems persist, consider restarting your browser or even your computer.
